RIDE !!!
Pre planned routes, easy to follow will enable everyone to know where to head for. Several routes which will be familiar to most people, and allow separate groups to continue at ride pace, and share a social cafe stop.

We are leaving from the Esso Petrol station Princes Road
by Tunnel roundabout at 8 am.
Leaving from Bills at 9.30 am for a 34 mile ride, taking in
some of the route and climbs of the Kentish Killer.
A great tea and food stop at Heavens Farm.
This will be our last ride on Bills home turf, before he moves
to Brisbane in Australia, not sure if we can do Brisbane yet !!!!

Bill has planned a taster for the Kentish Killer, half the distance
with only 2 cat 5 climbs, taking in the climb in the Ashdown, that the Kentish Killer will be taking, a great opportunity to give it a trial run.
A great tea stop at Heavens Farm, not to be missed.

The Beacon Ride
By popular request, we are re living the 1st half of the 150 mile route
from 2 years ago. The route via Edenbridge and then Haywards Heath.
Heading for Ditchling Beacon, the half way point, for a feed stop.
Return leg via a similar route back 120 miles
Here are the Ride descriptions.
Please only select a ride that you can cope with and feel confident to undertake.
Please note that the ride levels listed below are suggested speeds and distances, and are not meant to deter riders from taking on longer distance rides.
i.e. a 50 mile ride does not always have to be flat out as well.
Ride Steady.
An entry level ride, for confident beginners and intermediate riders.
Distance between 15 and 25 miles, 2 hours maximum, ride at the pace of slowest rider.
Average speed 10 to 14 mph
Ride Well.
Intermediate Ride, for riders who have good road craft and can cope with a few climbs and a steady pace. Distance 25 to 35 miles. Ride as a group.
Average speed 12 to 16 mph
Ride Strong
For stronger riders, who can cope with tough hill climbs as well as a faster paced ride. 30 to 50 miles.
Average speed 14 to 19 mph
Ride Hard.
A really challenging ride, which will test the best of your abilities, routes will be hilly, fast and long. 50 to 150 miles.
Average Speed 16 to 22 mph
