A Road Cycling Group based in Dartford, Kent. Started by like minded riders with a passion for cycling.
The name Seeds was born one Sunday morning in November 2007 ,in driving rain, when only a hard core of cyclists turned up for the training ride. Chris James said, when standing there soaked to the skin we go beyond the core, we go back to the Seeds.
So the name stuck, Seeds Cycling the home of cycling in Dartford.
The Club has now grown to 65 members in 2011, mixed ability groups.
The Club runs periodic beginner classes, that cover basic bike skills and road craft.
Training days are every Sunday through the year, and Thursday evenings through the Summer. Every other Saturday rides depending on demand. All rides will be led by a designated group leader, who will have a route and distance planned. All rides will be published on the website a few days before hand, detailing the distance and ride level.
Home and meeting place Princes Park (Darts Football Ground) car park, off Darenth Road, (behind Next Gen) meeting times usually 9.30 am on Sunday, 10 am on Saturdays and 6.30 pm on a Thursday eve. Times and venues may change through the year, always check the website.
